In
March of 2022, when the cost of AVGAS increased
substantially from less than $7/gallon, we implemented
a fuel surcharge in addition to our posted rental
rate for the first time in our many years in business.
Fortunately, the price of AVGAS has come down
from its high of $9.43/gallon in June, 2022.
As of
we are paying $8.21/gallon, which represents an increase in operating cost of roughly $9.15/hr
(our current fuel surcharge).
We are doing everything we can to make learning
to fly as affordable as possible, while ensuring
an uncompromising commitment to safety.
Hopefully things will return to the way they were,
and we will remove this added fee soon!
